Goodbye 2021, Hello 2022

We wish you all a healthy, happy, prosperous year full of wonder and joy.

5 wonderful things to do in 2022.

1. See lots of new art.

We recommend the artist Chaz Guest: “Memories of Warriors” - opens at the Vito Schnabel Gallery, 43 Clarkson Street, New York. January 22nd - March 19th 2022

2. Visit a gallery you’ve never been to before.

We’re excited for the opening of “The Inside Out Centre for the Arts” - founded by the Roger Ballen Foundation and located on 48 Jan Smuts Ave, Forest Town, Johannesburg in South Africa. The goal is to promote African photography and art through exhibitions and educational programs. The Inside Out Centre is expected to open in early 2022. Keep checking Roger’s website to find out when the doors open and while you are waiting, meet Roger the Rat.

3. Read something new.

Pre-order and be one of the first to order All I stole from you, a compelling first novel by author Ava Bellows HERE.

4. Take care of yourself.

Take a walk in nature and enjoy what is in your own back yard. If you are struggling with mental health, you are not alone. These are trying times and you may need help. If you are in L.A. visit the public art installation “Portals” by artist Amir H Fallah - Three stained glass panels created for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health’s new HQ in Downtown Los Angeles. As Amir’s beautiful work illustrates, a change of perspective is waiting for you. Look through a window and see a better world.

5. Listen to new music every day.

KCRW Morning becomes Eclectic plays on into 2022 because everyone needs a new playlist. And we particularly love what Tyler Boudreaux puts on her turntable.
