BASTILLE is the pseudonym for the late artist Frank Webber. In the late fifties Bastille worked as an illustrator for French fashion magazines before he rose to fame with his homoerotic drawings. In 1983 he sent his boyfriend Nigel Kent a series of love letters in envelopes that he made into art. They are part of the permanent collection at Tom of Finland Foundation. Take a peek at how Bastille sent love in an envelope.
